Let Me In

I wrote Let Me In when I was just picking up the guitar, 15 or 16. It was classic teenage hormones. I remember the cassette recording I did, all very primitive by today's standards, the cassette, actually if you had two decks, were the original home studio with two tracks! You had to add on a new track live, no mistakes, so consequently I think I kept things pretty basic.

This year I thought it might be cool to reconnect with some of those songs I wrote back then and re-do them. In a way it was like me working with my younger self as a songwriting team.

Beth played the drums and took the pictures for the lyric video, outstanding as ever.

I used several guitars for the track but mainly my baja tele. All tube. Mastered by Andy Jackson, Tubemastering, UK.
